Fiorentina For the Win
The Viola did not have the best of seasons last season. Even with their Montenegrin wonder-boy, Stefan Jovetic’s 14 goals, it was not enough to avoid a 15th place spot for the Viola. A new season has come along though, and it is another chance for Fiorentina to prove to Serie A how good they really are. They lost one of their young defenders, Nastasic to Manchester City.
Fiorentina brought in some new players too, Borja Valero, Juan Cuardado on loan, and Alberto Aquilani from Liverpool FC.

Luca’s Legend Lives On
Their wonder-boy Jovetic has proved his talents once again, as he is the top scorer for Fiorentina and 7th top scorer in the league with six goals. The returning Luca Toni has also proved that he is still a clinical finisher, scoring 4 goals this season so far. Fiorentina’s most recent game was a 4-1 win against Atalanta, which extended their unbeaten run to 5 games.
